From Roxbury Latin to global impact
My journey began at Roxbury Latin School, where I first recognized the stark inequalities in tennis access. While some students had private coaches and state-of-the-art facilities, others had never held a racquet. This disparity sparked a mission that would eventually lead to MatchGenie.
Working with Special Olympics tennis clinics opened my eyes to the incredible potential that exists when we remove barriers and create inclusive environments. I witnessed athletes who had been overlooked by traditional tennis programs flourish when given proper support and adaptive instruction.
The LetsTennis initiative grew from these experiences, focusing on three core principles: accessibility, adaptability, and excellence. We believe that every player deserves access to world-class coaching, regardless of their economic situation, geographic location, or physical abilities.
